Let us present new tool letting you know which young athletes are the most promising among their peers.

Which grip is better in table tennis, penhold or shakehand? To answer this question we compared arithmetical mean of rating points of athletes using these different grips. As you can see, athletes with penhold have an advantage over athletes with shakehand if we select first 300 players ranked by ITTF. But if we select only top 100 players, we have contrary results for women.

Who is stronger in table tennis, attackers or defenders? To answer this question we compared arithmetical mean of rating points of both groups. As you can see, defenders have an advantage over attackers if we select first 300 players ranked by ITTF. But if we select only top 100 players, we have contrary results for men. Any top defender is generally weaker than any top attacker. Talking about women, we must admit that advantage of defenders is more noticeable here than among male athletes.

You might have heard that left-handed table tennis players have an advantage over right-handed players. In order to check this theory we created new special tool . As you can see, rating points arithmetical mean of righthanded players is a little bit less than arithmetical mean of lefthanded players. So our theory is true but superiority of lefties over righties in table tennis is really little nowadays.

Now you can instantly see the current score of two different players if they ever plaied with each other before. The score looks like a link and could be found next to name of each second player.

Our new tool let you know which average and maximium rating points having athletes participating in ITTF tournaments, according to their age.
If you look at this chart you will find out that the line of maximum rating raising up to 27-29 years and goes down right after this age.
You may also notice that age 17-18 is the most popular among such athletes.

Our team collected all information about top players and organized it into one unique database having no analogues in Internet yet.
Hundreds of videos and match results, athlete rankings, equipments and other interesting information could be easily found here.
